Symposium 2021 Weekend Agenda


The 2021 SSEA Symposium weekend was held from Friday, November 5th 2021 to Sunday, November 7th 2021 and included the following papers.

 

Weekend Overview

NOTE: THERE IS A TIME CHANGE ON SATURDAY NIGHT WHEN

CLOCKS MOVE BACK ONE HOUR

Friday Nov. 5,  9 am – 5 pm         Scholars’ Colloquium Day 1, presenting a series of brief presentations on current work and research on

                                                      Ancient Egypt. Speaker names and abstracts will be placed online closer to the Weekend. Colloquium schedules will be established closer to the event.

Friday, Nov. 5,  7 – 8 pm               The Annual General Meeting of the SSEA/SÉÉA, for all SSEA/SÉÉA Members

Saturday, Nov. 6,   9 am – 5 pm    “In Sickness and in Health: The Healing Arts in Ancient Egypt”. The 45th Annual Symposium

Sunday, Nov. 7,   11 am – 4 pm      Scholars’ Colloquium Day 2, a continuation of the brief presentations begun on Day 1
