The 48th Annual Scholars' Colloquium and Symposium will take place in Toronto on the weekend of 1st to 3rd November 2024. The topic for the Symposium this year will be Aswan: Source of Wonders.

Take in three days of presentations from leading researchers in ancient Egypt and Nubia. The title for the Nov. 2 Symposium is Aswan: Source of Wonders and features a keynote lecture by Cornelius von Pilgrim, Director of the Swiss Institute in Cairo, with other featured speakers: Jitse Dijkstra, University of Ottawa; our own Gayle Gibson; Kate Liszka, director of the Wadi el-Hudi Project; Alejandro Jimenez-Serrano of Jaen University; and Oren Siegel of the UofT.
The Scholars' Colloquium days on Nov. 1 and 3 feature a wide variety of doctoral and professional researchers from around the world speaking on their latest insights and discoveries. Attend in person at the University of Toronto, or online via Zoom.
